Registration deadline is September 15th, 2001

Registration Fee: the registration fee includes participation in all scientific sessions, lunch on Friday October 5th and Saturday 6th and coffee-breaks.

Social programme includes the Evening Welcome Reception on October 4th, The Musical Event and the Gala Dinner on October 5th. The Social events are free for all registrants to the Meeting. Social events should be payed by accompanying persons:

- no fee for Evening Welcome Reception;

- fee for Musical Event and Gala Dinner: ItL. 120.000
On-site registrants cannot be guaranteed to receive all congress documents.

Excursions for accompanying persons:

1) Villa Taranto botanic gardens
half day (morning) by bus: (minimum 20 persons) ItL. 70.000

2) Isole Borromee (Isola bella, Isola Madre, Isola Pescatori)
full day by motor-boat, lunch included: (minimum 10 persons) ItL. 130.000

PAYMENT
All fees are payable in advance. Payment should be made in Italian (ItL.) or in Euro (€) currency; please, indicate the participant's name clearly, in order to ensure that the payment is correctly registered. Payment shoud be made either by bank wire to Congress Team Project account # 30062/52 at the bank Banco Ambrosiano Veneto - Swift code BAVE IT MM 066 (All charges have to be paid by the registrant) or by credit card (a surcharge of 5% will be applied to all credit charges). A confirmation invoice will be sent to you in good time stating your payment status.

ON SITE PAYMENT
Payment should be made only in italian Liras.

BADGE
The participants are kindly invited to stop at the Secretariat desk to receive the Congress kit with their name badge; please do not forget to wear your personal badge.

CANCELLATION
Cancellation received in writing prior September 20th will receive a refund of 50%. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after September 20th. All refunds will be issued after the meeting.

INSURANCE
The Scientific Committee and the Organizing Secretariat accept no liability for any injury sustained during or in transit to or from this meeting. The participants acknowledge that they are attending voluntarily and exempt this organization from any liability.

VARIATIONS
The Scientific Committee and the Organizing Secretariat reserve the right, for technical and/or scientific reasons, to make any change to the meeting programme.

CURRENCY
The official Symposium currency is Italian Lira.

ELECTRICITY
The electrical current in Italy is 220 volts.

PASSPORT AND VISA
Except for participants from EU countries, for whom a national identity card is sufficient, a valid passport is required for entry into Italy: Citizens from certain country require a visa to enter Italy. Should there be any doubts, foreign participants are recommended to inform themselves at their local Italian Embassy or Consulate.

May be arranged through Palazzo dei Congressi - Stresa.
Palazzo dei Congressi has arranged for accommodation at various hotels in Stresa. Those wishing to reserve a room should submit the Hotel Accommodation form by fax before July 1st, 2001 to:

Cancellation
Cancellation can only be made in writing to the Congress Centre

Confirmation
The reservation will be confirmed after allocation of rooms has been filled.

SLIDES
A double slide projection service is provided: slides must bear the Speaker's name, be numbered in order of projection and handed over to the Slide Centre at least two hours before the starting of the session. Power point presentation will be also provided.

ACCEPTED CONTRIBUTIONS

POSTERS
Posters will be displayed for general viewing for the entire Symposium in the posters area. Posters (70 cm wide and 100 high) will be set up by the Authors in the designated area, starting from Thursday, October 4, at 8.00 a.m. and will be removed at the end of the Symposium.

FREE COMMUNICATIONS
The time allotted for each free communication will be 5 minutes + 2 minutes for the discussion.

ABSTRACTS
The abstracts (lectures, free communications and posters) will be published in the American Journal of Dermatopathology.

PLEASE NOTE
In regard to the matter of expenses and reimbursement, each member of the faculty will pay his/her expenses with exclusion of registration fee.

OFFICIAL INVITATIONS
Official letters of invitation to the Symposium will be sent by the Organizing Secretariat upon request. It must be noted that in providing such letters, neither the Organizing Secretariat nor Local Organizing Committee accept any obligation to pay any expenses incurred by the individual, which are his/her own responsability.

AMERICAN ACADEMY OF DERMATOLOGY CME CATEGORY I CREDIT
The American Academy of Dermatology, as an organization accredited for continual medical education, certifies that participation in this continuing medical education event meets criteria for 18 hours of Category 1 Credit of the American Academy of Dermatology toward their Continuing Medical Education Award and toward the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.
